Customer Support Specialist - Fixed Term Full-time - Auckland South

Objective / Purpose :

We are looking for a full-time, fixed term Customer Support Specialist on a 1-year contract to help provide high-quality, on-road customer support by resolving issues and concerns quickly and effectively.

Support the wider business in complaint resolution and process insurance claims using thl's electronic and manual systems.

Responsibilities :

Deliver exceptional service to customers, contributing to their unforgettable holiday experiences

Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the problem, determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution

Tailor solutions to balance customer and business requirements

Build strong relationships with external suppliers

Maintain knowledge of thl fleet and the geography of New Zealand

Complete assigned tasks accurately, professionally, and promptly

Handle customer complaints positively and escalate appropriately when required

Act as a Subject Matter Expert for branches and departments in complaint resolution

Actively participate in the thl Health and Safety system

Represent the company in alignment with thl's purpose, vision, and brand pillars

Other duties as required by your manager

Requirements :

Relevant qualification in a related field is desirable

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Experience in managing written correspondence is desirable

Experience with complaint resolution is essential

Ability to work under pressure

Reliable team player able to work collaboratively

Willing to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays with prior notice

Available to work on a rotating roster over 7 days - 5 days on 2 days off between 7am - 9pm (hours can be extended over summer period with notice)
