This is a permanent teaching position with the possibility of part-time or full-time hours.

The role is based at our Ormiston Primary Provision.In this role : Class sizes are small, ranging from 2–10 students.You will have a strong commitment to learning NZSL, with full support, lessons, resources, and day-to-day assistance provided.You will work within a teaching team that includes Teachers and Teacher Aides of the Deaf, with access to specialists such as Educational Interpreters.Your knowledge of the NZ curriculum will enable you to improve achievement among our akonga.You may be eligible for a MoE Study Award for a Post Graduate Teacher of the Deaf qualification.Five days of CRT release time per term as per PTCA, with additional release during induction.Applications are encouraged from teachers with recent experience focused on student achievement and wellbeing.
