Tauhara College is recruiting for a special education, specialist ORS teacher.
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated teacher to join our Whare Mahana team.
As the specialist ORS classroom teacher, you would be responsible for teaching a group of neurodiverse students.
This is a class of young people who are working within Level 1 and 2 of the New Zealand Curriculum, so junior primary teaching experience would be an advantage.
In this position you would be expected to design, plan and deliver a modified, inclusive programme for a class of ORS students.
We are looking for someone who will build positive relationships with students, whanau, and the teaching team, to enable our young people to meet their individual goals.

This is a full-time, one year position to cover maternity leave.
This position commences term 1, 2026, or as negotiated.
