Overview
Position : Territory Manager, Surgical at Medtronic.
We are seeking a Territory Manager to join our NZ Surgical Sales team.
Based in either Hamilton or Tauranga, you will drive sales growth and market share by promoting our General Surgical Technologies portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff in Hamilton, Tauranga and the Waikato & Bay of Plenty regions.

Responsibilities
Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and / or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
Pursues leads, assesses needs and provides product services to maximize the benefits of Medtronic's products and / or services
Promotes and delivers education on the company's products and / or services
Conducts market research including customers and competitors' activities
Implements market development plans / strategies and updates them as needed
Communicates customer feedback on new products and / or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing
Required Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing, Business or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the devices, pharma or healthcare industry
Strong understanding of the New Zealand public and private hospital system
Solutions-focused with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business
Results-oriented with good organisation and time-management skills, including working independently
Ability to prioritise, handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to understand and communicate novel concepts
Ability to learn quickly and assimilate complex information
Computer literacy including MS Office
Maintain a valid driver's licence
