Job Description
Kerr Specialists are accountable for achieving agreed territory sales volume and revenue to maintain and grow Kerr’s market share within the territory. There are three (3) Kerr Business Units the ‘Kerr Specialist’ is responsible for within their assigned territory :
- Business Unit – Restorative
- Business Unit – Endodontics
- Business Unit – Metrex / Infection Prevention

Territory Sales Volume : Ensure the achievement of target sales volumes and revenue for the territory by planning and maintaining systematic call patterns, developing and maintaining close business relationships with dealer sales personnel and key clients, and by identifying opportunities to increase Kerr’s sales within the territory.Territory Management : Ensure effective management of the respective sales territory by the timely and accurate maintenance, preparation and submission of relevant sales reports, co-ordinating special events with other sales team members and keeping management aware of significant developments within the territory.Territory Marketing Plan : Ensure a consistent, systematic and orderly approach to the marketing of Kerr products in the territory by recommending and implementing agreed marketing plans and objectives, monitoring and reporting progress to targets and taking corrective action as required.Channel Partner Collaboration : Work alongside key distributor partners within the Territory to drive sales to the end user. This may include planned co-travel dates, lead sharing, training sessions and other field activities as required.Team Member Participation : Contribute to the teamwork and work climate within Kerr’s Australian operation by assisting other team members where appropriate, seeking areas where further work contributions may be made and by maintaining effective work relations with all other staff members.Represent Kerr ANZ Interests : Contribute to the effective representation of Kerr ANZ interests by promoting and representing the company with involvement in exhibits, trade shows and conventions, and in industry association activities.Note : This description reflects responsibilities and scope as described in the original posting.
