RoleRisk and Schedule Specialist — NZ Transport Agency Waka KotahiResponsibilitiesProvide programme-level strategies, planning, scheduling and reporting, financial controlWork on Roads of National Significance (RoNS) and Roads of Regional Significance (RoRS) projectsLead and oversee key programme scheduling and risk workstreams through systems design and infrastructure deliveryInterface with NZTA teams to ensure delivery is integrated with the organisation's strategies, plans and processesAbout the roleThe role will be aligned to NZTA RoNS and RoRS projects, and the establishment of risk and scheduling tools for these projects ranging in size and scale from $100m to $4b.
Appointment base salary is from $109,408 to $121,564, depending on relevant knowledge and experience.
In addition to salary, benefits include 5 weeks annual leave and a Life, Income Protection and Critical-illness Insurance scheme for permanent employees.About youIdeally you will have : Demonstrated practical knowledge of effective risk and scheduling strategies for large-scale projectsExperience in infrastructure (transport preferred), with strong business acumenExperience using risk and scheduling tools (e.g., ARM Active Risk Manager, P6 / MS Project, Power BI)Knowledge of risk-adjusted schedulingExperience working with Cost Estimators and Designers through design development phasesAbility to build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersInfluencing skills with the ability to manage external consultants in delivering robust risk management and schedulingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly effective planning and organisational skillsAbout usThe NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is the largest infrastructure delivery agent in New Zealand, delivering an integrated transport system in partnership with others.
