Role summary

We're looking for a Risk Strategy and Change Analyst who combines analytical rigour with strong interpersonal skills.

You'll be a trusted advisor in the Enterprise Risk team, translating strategic intent into practical plans, and communicating technical concepts in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your work will help ensure Kiwibank continues to make Kiwi better off by balancing risk & growth opportunities through clear, quick & informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Analyse current risk practices to understand the existing state

Support translation of business and regulatory needs into operational change.

Help shape the future Risk Operating Model

Contribute to planning risk-related change, with awareness of strategic alignment and key dependencies.

Collaborate across Risk and Business Units to support delivery

Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences

Support sustainable change by identifying risks and enabling adoption

Qualifications and skills

Strong analytical skills and the ability to generate insights from data

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams

Experience in project delivery, process improvement, or risk management

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

Critical thinking and the ability to translate strategy into practical solutions
