Discover A Thousand Ways of Happiness in a workplace that's both polished and personal.As a Commis Chef for Katsura Japanese Cuisine, you'll assist in the preparation of high-quality Japanese dishes, ensuring food is presented to the highest standards.

You'll work closely with senior Chefs and contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.Key responsibilities : Prepare and cook food items in line with hotel and Japanese cuisine standards.Maintain food hygiene and safety in accordance with the Food Control Plan.Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment care.Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries.Support the team during busy service periods and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.What we're looking for : Previous experience in a commercial kitchen would be beneficial (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus).

Supportive leadership and a positive team culture.This is a part-time 20-hour per week position (can go up to 30 to 40 hours rostered), with a variable rotating roster which will include weekends and public holidays.
