The Right Candidate :
Either 2 years of experience in a busy kitchen environment or relevant qualification in Culinary Arts or similarFamiliar with running a systemized kitchenA team player who collaborates well with others and supports a positive workenvironmentStrong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards in food preparation and kitchen systems
Eagerness to learn, develop your skills, and take on new challengesPosition Details :
Full-time (minimum 30 hours per week)Both work on weekends and some public holidaysNo night shiftDuties include :
Design, plan and price menu based on customer preference and seasonalityTrain and manage kitchen staff. You may also involve in hiring kitchen staff Prepare and cook meals. Always ensure that the presentation is excellent.Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed. Minimise waste and manage foodcosts efficiently.
Utilise proper techniques to freeze and preserve foods.Communicating food preparation issues effectively with the management team, andall relevant kitchen and service staff.
Ability to estimate food and labor costs to maintain profitabilityMonitor and manage inventory levels to minimise waste and ensure freshness ofingredients.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulationsOverseeing the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation andpresentation
