We do this effectively, efficiently, fairly and transparently, in order to be a trusted independent regulator.About the role | M4dm te tungaResponsibilitiesGuiding application teams across various types of applications and legislation.Effectively delegating tasks and providing support to team members to set them up for success.Ensuring processes and templates are maintained.Providing or facilitating the provision of specialist consenting process expertise and advice to various key stakeholders.Support teams to achieve compliance with statutory timeframes and budget constraints.Assist the Principal Advisor to identify areas for improvement / training requirements.About youWe are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience—if you have some or all of the below, we would love to hear from you.Excellent knowledge of resource management sector, legislation and case law and its applicationUnderstanding of machinery of government processes and systems including cabinet guidelines, rules and conventions (desirable)Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and achieve results in tight deadlinesAbility to manage conflicting workloads and statutory deadlines across multiple projects by demonstrating good risk-based prioritisation of workflow including adapting to emerging issues in a logical and rational mannerExperience providing planning advice and evidence relating to large applications to decision makers and the Environment CourtProven experience / or aptitude for operating regulatory systems, preferably in the management of natural resourcesExperience facilitating meetings, including conferencing and caucusing of experts (preferable)SalarySalary range$103,473 - $155,209 per annum (midpoint $129,341).
This is the full salary range.
