About the Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

Our Digital practice is where the cool stuff happens. Within Digital, our Digital Dev team has specialist developers and Technical Leads who bring their full-stack and mobile application development talents to our interesting and varying customer projects and initiatives.

We are seeking a Wellington-based Practice Lead who will take on the leadership and line management for this diverse team. Your leadership experience will be highly valued as you continue to shape the team.

Essential

  • Experience in leading teams of developers, technical leads, and architects – you are a natural leader who loves connecting with people
  • Possess a positive, proactive approach to supporting and developing a team – you are keen to continue to develop your leadership skills
  • A technical background in software development – you’ve been in the trenches
  • Customer-facing experience, both in terms of pre-sales activities and project-led interactions – you bring a desire to liaise directly with customers to show them what we can do
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organisational skills – and you embrace a culture of sharing, inclusiveness, and learning
  • You are a thought leader who brings your own voice to the team, yet always wants to learn more and share experiences
  • Wellington-based

Desirable

  • A background in consulting organisations
  • A technical background that includes full-stack or mobile app development
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft stack of development tools and frameworks, including Azure
