Curious about how laws get made and how tech can make that process smarter?
We're looking for a DevOps Lead who's keen to dive into complex systems, wrangle infrastructure, and automate the delivery of software that powers New Zealand's legislative process.
If you like working on stuff that actually matters, this might be your next move.
What we do
At the Parliamentary Counsel Office (PCO) we work with government agencies to draft and publish legislation for New Zealand.
If the Government wants to create, remove, or update a law, we draft the Government Bill that gets debated and voted on in Parliament, and we then publish the resulting law on the NZ Legislation website.
Ultimately, we serve the people of Aotearoa New Zealand by working hard to produce legislation that is easy to find, use, and understand.

You'll :
Lead CI / CD pipeline development and automation
Manage infrastructure-as-code and scalable cloud environments
