The OpportunityDigital Lead – Auckland or WellingtonWe're looking for a sharp, capable Digital Lead to design and lead the execution of Asteron Life's digital strategy.

This is a permanent role for someone who brings serious digital depth, strong build experience, and thrives in fast-paced, high-change environments.

You'll need to be confident working independently, navigating complexity, and delivering outcomes with minimal oversight.You'll be hands-on - working in agile squads, collaborating across teams, and turning strategy into action.

You'll own the digital roadmap end-to-end, translating business needs into scalable solutions and managing delivery from concept to launch.

Your expertise in UX, CX, APIs, agile development, AI, and digital analytics will be critical to driving measurable impact across both B2C and B2B channels.

We're looking for someone with 6+ years of digital leadership experience, ideally within insurance, financial services, or technology sectors, who can communicate clearly, influence effectively, and thrive in a fast-moving environment with many moving parts.If you've built digital products, know how to deliver in complex environments, and can balance strategic thinking with execution, this is your chance to lead from the front and shape the future of digital at Asteron Life.

To Thrive In This Environment Ideally a Candidate Has The Following Attributes :

6+ years of digital leadership experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or technology sectors.

Proven success delivering digital platforms and transformation initiatives across B2C and B2B.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and self-service strategies.

Deep knowledge of UX, CX, agile development, APIs, and digital analytics.

Experience working with CRM, CMS, and MarTech platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Adobe, Google Analytics).

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Strategic thinker with commercial acumen

Customer-obsessed and innovation-driven

Collaborative, pragmatic, and resilient

Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Strong influencing and storytelling skills

Expert in taking business needs and translating to technical requirements
