About The Role
As part of the Support Centre, you will own internal communications, collaborating closely with stakeholders to consult on needs, develop project plans, and execute initiatives. While predominantly focused on internal comms, you will also manage external communications through agency partnerships. This is a hands-on, office-first position that requires strong in-person presence across branches, senior leadership & Support Centre. You will have one direct report supporting project delivery, while you drive overall execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal communications : Manage intranet, newsletters, EDMs, and other channels to ensure relevance and engagement.
- Develop and execute communication strategy : Define goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics aligned with business priorities.
- Content creation : Produce and curate communications, including thought leadership, advisories, intranet articles, newsletters, videos, and executive communications with the support of the wider team.
- Project management : Deliver ad-hoc communications, engagement surveys, annual reviews, and other strategic initiatives.
- External communications support : Partner with PR agencies and external vendors to manage campaigns, scale initiatives, and maintain alignment with internal messaging.
- Executive support : Collaborate with leadership to develop scripts, speeches, and briefings.
- Relationship building : Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners to ensure communications are impactful.
- Evaluate effectiveness : Track performance, analyse engagement metrics, and adjust strategies to optimise outcomes.
About You
Internal Communications Expertise : Proven experience managing internal communications in a complex, fast-paced environment. Comfortable with both hands-on delivery and strategic planning.Adaptive Messaging & Audience Awareness : Skilled at tailoring communications for different leaders, audiences, and functions. Empathetic, clear, and persuasive. Strong in person presence across teams, this is not a remote-first role.Stakeholder Engagement & Influence : Able to build trust, engage, and influence stakeholders at all levels. Approachable, composed, and adaptable.Strategic, Independent Operator : Works autonomously with initiative, turning strategy into actionable plans.
