This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 80 hours per fortnight.You will be working as part of a cohesive team based at the Tauranga Hospital.

Te Whatu Ora Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi process high-volume and complex payroll on a weekly basis.We can offer you the opportunity to develop and grow your existing payroll skills through exposing you to some complex systems and processes.

We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki.

Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4500 staff.About youWe are ideally seeking applicants who have previous experience working in large scale and complex payroll environments.

You will have a high level of attention to detail as well as strong investigative skills.

You will be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy in your work, excellent processing skills and the ability to work well to time frames.To be successful in this position you will have : Several years' experience in end-to-end payroll processingHave sound knowledge and understanding of payroll legislation – Holidays Act etcGood systems experience, ideally you will have had exposure to a variety of different systemsHigh level of communication – dealing with sensitive information with multiple internal customersAbility to produce accurate work, sometimes under pressure and to set timeframesWillingness to work as a team playerWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
