- About the Role
- We have a 12 month fixed-term, 1.0FTE Hospital Pharmacist position available from November 2025.
Whether you are a current intern, an experienced pharmacist, or a specialist in Oncology, Clinical Trials, or Emergency Department practice – we want to hear from you.This role offers flexibility in both hours and location.
You can be primarily based at Tauranga or Whakatane Hospital, with some travel between sites depending on service need and your area of interest.
Your contributions will span clinical pharmacy services, medicines management, and multi-disciplinary collaboration to support excellent patient care.We also welcome applications from pharmacist prescribers or those looking to grow into more specialised areas.

About the Team / Service / LocationOur Pharmacy Services team is growing alongside the communities we serve.Tauranga Hospital is a major secondary hospital in a vibrant coastal city known for golden beaches, growth, and lifestyle.
Whakatane Hospital is smaller but deeply connected to its community – a place with a warm team culture and strong sense of purpose.
Together, we serve a diverse population of 276,000 across Bay of Plenty – Hauora a Toi.
