About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide strong leadership to the Health NZ - Hutt Valley payroll team and to ensure timely and efficient processing of the payroll.
Health NZ Payroll is currently undergoing significant national changes to ensure consistency, compliance, and a more efficient delivery of payroll and reporting.
You will be key to implementing these changes and supporting the team through this exciting period.
The salary for this position is PSA Admin Band 7, Grade 1-7.
About the Team / Service
You will be part of a very friendly and supportive team, located in modern offices in Central Lower Hutt.
About You
It is essential that you have :
Extensive people leadership experience
10+ years of NZ payroll experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a large, complex payroll environment
5+ years' experience working with multiple collective agreements
Sound written and oral communication skills
