Our guides drive small passenger boats to take guests on a fun and informative excursion on the Tasman Lake, interacting around icebergs and up to the mighty terminal face of NZ's largest glacier.
Guides share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the area with guests.
No day on the Tasman Lake is ever the same, offering variety and challenge.
This is a fixed-term job role.
We are looking for applicants who will be interested to start with our team by September 2024.
Responsibilities
Drive and manoeuvre small passenger boats for guest excursions on Tasman Lake.
Share knowledge and enthusiasm about the area with guests.
Engage with guests in a manner suitable for diverse audiences and adapt to changing daily activities.
What do we need from you?
A commitment to the role until the end of the season (June 2025).
NZ driver's license or entitlement to drive in NZ.
Passion for the outdoors and eagerness to learn and develop.
Ability to manage a group with strong public speaking and communication skills.
A strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and reliability with flexibility to work across different tours and products.
Flexible with a can-do approach and willingness to learn throughout your time with us.

Previous boating or water sports experience
Previous first aid experience
Class 2 and P endorsement

Applicants should be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
Start dates vary from late August to mid-November, with the position running until June.
