Overview
The Head of Global Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the company’s global network of offices. They ensure that the company’s operational processes run smoothly and efficiently in all regions, with a focus on optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance. They provide leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative controls, reporting procedures, and management systems in place to effectively manage and grow the organization to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Manage a team of regional operations managers, ensuring that they are meeting their targets and objectives.
- Conduct regular reviews of operational processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operational processes and increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on operational performance metrics to executive committee.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of operational activities across different functions.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for operational areas.
- Manage risk and elevate issues as needed to executive committee.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.Minimum of 15+ years of experience in global operations management, with a track record of driving operational improvements and managing teams.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex operational issues.Experience working in a multi‑cultural and multi‑lingual environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and on budget.Familiarity with industry best practices and regulations in operations management.Willingness to travel internationally as required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
