Responsibilities
- Executes on the go-to-market and transformation strategy driven through Board Area / Global / Regional / Market Unit leadership. Enables execution through respective teams.
- Oversees the Corporate & Partner Driven segment in the country and leads a world-class direct and indirect team.
- Oversees a programmatic approach to developing pipeline targets, orchestrating demand generation plan creation, and ensuring demand generation plans are implemented to meet pipeline targets and drive sustainable growth.
- Drives Quarter+1 / Quarter+2 preparedness and provides a point of connection into the business area regarding demand generation engines, building a cohesive demand strategy and achieving pipeline goals.
- Ensures strategic programs and innovation initiatives support Board Area business goals, financial objectives, portfolio aspirations, and growth requirements.
- Works with Digital Hub leadership to enact the regional Digital Hub GTM and drive digital motions, modalities & processes into the business.
- Represents SAP externally with customers and partners; builds a network of executive relationships across industry, community and business groups, and with key partners and customers.
- Influences internal stakeholders to remove obstacles and achieve goals; facilitates alignment and effective communication within the team and with key partners / customers.
- Identifies opportunities to collaborate beyond organizational borders to drive enablement, scale, and coverage for related services.
- Thinks beyond team boundaries to drive efficiencies across data, applications, and reporting tools, tasks, and projects.
- Brings thought leadership to market needs, generating competitive advantage and developing new revenue streams; supports SAP at industry, sales and media events.
- Authorized to make decisions or engage with stakeholders to drive progress and enables leadership on multiple levels.
Programs and Portfolio Management
Provide leadership guidance, coaching, and enable execution of large-scale projects and programs through direct and indirect reports and teams at global, regional, local or hub levels.Team Management
This role will manage a team of generalist sales reps – both in Corporate & Partner Driven segment.
You are responsible as a people manager for supporting the success of your direct reports and the larger team, identifying development opportunities, and ensuring team members achieve their goals. You should know the members of your extended team and share insights with peer managers.
Coaches and recognizes direct reports, provides timely feedback, and models SAP leadership principles to recruit, develop, and retain talent.Connects strategy to execution and creates the links for team members.Experience & Language Requirements
15+ years of experience in sales of complex business software / IT solutionsProven track record in business application software salesProven track record in leading / managing in a team selling environmentSuccess with complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive marketExperience negotiating complex contractsKnowledge of consultative selling methodologiesAbility to manage highly complex organizations and apply risk-mitigation strategies to customersBusiness level English : FluentBring out your best
