Job descriptionTrade-qualified Automotive Technician (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent) Proven experience as a senior or advanced technician Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure Great communication and teamwork skills Full NZ driver’s licence — WOF authority or EV / hybrid experience a bonus Monday to Friday only – weekends are for you to relax Closed over the festive season – real holidays, not workshop “clean-up week” Early finishes before long weekends – because we like to start them early Competitive hourly rate way higher than what you are probably getting paid now + overtime options Supportive, ego-free team culture Ongoing brand training and career development A modern, well-equipped workshop that makes your job easier

Are you a seasoned tech who knows their way around an engine bay and still manages to keep things light-hearted? We’re on the lookout for a skilled Senior Technician to join a well-established, fast-paced workshop alongside a great crew of mechanics based in the North Shore of Auckland.
This isn’t your average “spanner-turning” job - you’ll be leading by example, solving the tricky stuff, and keeping the team running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles - efficiently and accurately
- Tackling complex electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic challenges
- Performing inspections, servicing, and the occasional WOF (training available if needed)
- Keeping your work area and tools in top shape
- Sharing your knowledge and supporting the rest of the team
- Helping deliver top-tier customer service and workshop quality
