Reporting to the Head of People Services and based in our fantastic Mount Maunganui office, our People Process & Systems Lead will be a key driverfor how we digitise, automate, and scale our People Services function - making work simpler, smarter, and more human.

The People Process & Systems Lead is your chance to help shape Zespri's People Digital Strategy, partner with leaders across People and Digital, and enable a seamless, future-fit employee experience. You'll lead digital transformation, optimise processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support evolving HR needs.

Key Accountabilities :

Co-design the People Systems Strategy - Shape the roadmap for our platforms (HRIS, case management, AI tools) and act as People Team Product Owner for systems like PeopleZOne (SAP SF) and People ServiceNow.

Champion AI & Automation - Partner to identify and implement opportunities to automate workflows, pilot and scale AI-driven tools, and deliver solutions that empower self-service and productivity.

Lead People Programmes - Drive cross-functional initiatives, experience redesigns, and change at pace with CoEs, Digital, and regional People teams.

Curate Seamless User Experiences - Be the voice of the employee in our systems, using design thinking to help create intuitive and delightful digital journeys.

Drive Continuous Improvement - Streamline HR processes, automate manual efforts, and partner with teams to design and implement solutions.

Inspire Leadership & Culture - Empower others, communicate clearly, celebrate success, and foster an environment of trust, openness, and healthy challenge.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with global stakeholders and is able to showcase how you have made real impact on employee experience and business outcomes in previous roles. You will possess :

Demonstrated experience in People / HR, with a passion for continuous improvement and employee experience

5–7+ years at the intersection of HR systems, digital tools, and transformation

Experience with global HRIS (SAP SF) and / or case management platforms such as ServiceNow)

Proven track record leading tech-enabled People programmes, ideally across multiple countries / regions

Understanding of people data flows, automation, workflow tools, and UX principles

Collaborative, systems-thinking mindset with strong stakeholder engagement

Passion for the future of work, employee enablement, and digital culture
