The Opportunity : As a Project Manager within the Canterbury region, you will be responsible for the management of the overall direction, co-ordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific transport infrastructure projects across Canterbury. You will work hard to ensure your projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in the successful execution and delivery of roading construction projects.
• Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations.
• Set performance expectations with Engineers, Foremen / Supervisors and construction crews. Monitor performance and address any issues.
• Ensure consistent forward planning, while organising subcontractors, material, plant and people.
