This is a unique opportunity to join the Beca Project and Programme team based in Christchurch providing strategic advice and leadership across project management including leading projects from initiation and the design phase, through procurement, consenting, and into construction and handover.In this role, you will be applying your relationship-building abilities, along with your great communication skills, connecting across all parts of Beca and with our broad range of clients.

Key role components include : Lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects from early planning stages to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goalsBuild and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored project management solutionsApply robust project governance, risk management, and financial controls to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standardsCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, confidently leading teams and influencing project outcomesMentor and support junior team members, contributing to the development of capability and performance across the project teamUse commercial insight and strategic thinking to solve complex challenges and deliver value to clients and the businessApply a knowledge of NZS 391X suite of construction contracts including experience acting as Engineer's Representative / Contract AdministratorWorking at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw on technical experts and local South Island based Principals to support delivery of significant and complex projects in multiple markets.

You will have demonstrated experience of 5-10 years in this domain, understanding the local market business and operating environment.

Our client and project needs mean this role will not suit graduates or project managers in the early stages of their career.

In addition, you will be a tertiary qualified professional with proven experience that is well aligned to providing consulting services in the construction project management sector.You will be energetic and passionate with a bias for action, known for working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to make things happen.

You will enjoy building relationships and understand key project requirements, leading people and applying commercial judgement.

You will have demonstrated experience in design management, project planning and delivery, and strategic advice.
