OverviewShape the way digital design, construction and asset information is defined, briefed, managed and delivered on major projects and programmes throughout New ZealandBroad role with variety, working with major asset owners across client businesses, industries, and projects, within a national Beca team of ISO 19650-2 certified Digital Engineering professionalsGrow your career as part of a multi-award-winning team, with development and progression opportunities to suit your aspirations today and into the futureTe whiwhinga mahi | The opportunityPlay a key role in our transformational Digital Engineering Advisory team who listens to the information requirements of clients and works closely with asset owners, design teams and construction team partners to lead a pragmatic digital approach to the management and delivery of project and asset information.RoleIn this role you will apply your passion for Digital Engineering delivery across the asset lifecycle, with robust information management experience to deliver value to clients and projects across the asset creation lifecycle.

Key role components include : Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their asset information requirements (hierarchy and meta data) and communicate these to project teams early in the process.Lead Digital Engineering workflows (from briefing to execution planning, and asset data creation and validation) through the design, construction and handover phases on projects.Development, implementation and monitoring of Model Development Schedules / Information Delivery Plans to make digital engineering practices actionable.Work with our construction delivery partners and clients to train and help them to implement digital engineering processes (asset data creation, handover and validation) with their supply chains.Lead the setup and ongoing management of digital design coordination tools and processes including clash management.Establish quality control procedures to check that all the models are federated and coordinated, the level of development meets the requirements of the project.Conduct design reviews working alongside Design and Project Managers.Use Digital models / visualisation techniques to support the Digital Design and Safety in Design workshops.Maintain competency with international standards and local practices such as the ISO 19650 series and the NZ BIM Handbook.Leading junior team members on projects where you will mentor and support them, contributing to the development of capability and performance across the discipline.Working at Beca will provide you with access to a truly multi discipline business where you can draw on technical experts and recognised industry leaders to support delivery of significant and complex projects in multiple markets.

You will have demonstrated experience in this domain, with an understanding of the New Zealand market and operating environment.

Our client and project needs mean this role will not suit graduates or Digital Engineers in the early stages of their career.

In addition, you will be a tertiary qualified professional with proven experience that is well aligned to providing Digital Engineering services in the construction sector.You will be energetic and passionate with a bias for action, known for working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to make things happen.

You will enjoy building relationships, and understand key project requirements, leading people and applying commercial judgement.

You will have demonstrated experience in information management in accordance with the ISO 19650 series, digital engineering planning and delivery and providing strategic digital engineering advice.
