We believe in having each other's back and our team-first approach means that we prioritise what's good for the team over individual interests, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.We have an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join us.This is a hands on role where you will be a key part of the ongoing success of our Christchurch branch, building our local reputation and connections as a leading civil engineering design, construction, asset, and project management services.

You\'ll manage projects and provide advanced professional technical leadership and expertise on medium to large civil infrastructure projects from procurement through to implementation.

This includes design management, client management, and programme management.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development - build on your existing, well established local connections to grow our brand and profile.Assist the Satellite Team Leader to achieve annual Business Plan objectives.Project management - Fulfil the role(s) of Project Manager, Contract Manager, Engineer's Representative, Quality Manager, Environmental Manager, Site Safety Manager and Site Supervisor on assigned projects as required.Manage and / or provide transportation design and general civil design services and / or asset management to a senior level.Qualifications and experienceA relevant Tertiary Qualification.Minimum 10 years' experience in the Civil Engineering industry - within the Canterbury region.Strong local connections profile with local authorities and NZTA.Existing local knowledge and experience, with a focus on Business Development.Proven experience in Project Engineering and Project Management.Significant experience in transportation and general civil design and contract management with the ability to produce innovative and original work that provides specific technical solutions to complex challenges.Proven competence in planning and organising work schedules and delivering projects to specified timelines.Benefits and opportunitiesThis is an ideal role for an ambitious individual who is serious about building a career.
