Civil Engineer

We are seeking both Senior and Intermediate Civil Engineers in Christchurch who will be involved in a wide variety of exciting land development projects for a national civil engineering company.

Responsibilities

Provide land development consultancy services to developers across a wide range of projects — projects range from large-scale master-planned residential, commercial and industrial developments to infill projects and small residential projects.

Design and prepare civil engineering drawings with top-notch quality.

Keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external consultants.

Manage project elements and coordinate with contractors.

Handle schedules, contracts, resource consents, and liaise with local councils.

Champion our Quality Management and Health & Safety policies.

Assist with technical development and comply with admin requirements

Mentor junior staff

Experience

Atertiary qualificationin Civil Engineering or Surveying (e.g., BEng, BSurv)

Minimum 2+ years of experiencein land development in NZ required

CPEng or RPSurv(not required)

Experience with12D and AutoCAD(preferred)

Strong technical report writing and communication skills

A collaborative mindset and a genuine "can-do" attitude

For the senior engineer leadership and project management experience, and the ability to mentor junior staff.
