OverviewJoin to apply for the Project Manager role at NZ Transport Agency Waka KotahiLocation : Christchurch and Dunedin.ResponsibilitiesContribute your technical leadership across significant projects that will deliver tangible benefits for the wider community.Manage projects through various stages which could include scope development, planning, procurement, detailed design and physical works as required.Lead and collaborate with internal and external professionals, partners including local authorities, iwi, contractors and consultants to deliver project leadership and outcomes aligned to NZTA priorities.Qualifications and SkillsExperience in construction project management, including schedule, financial and risk management, preferably in the transport sector.Ability to develop projects by working with internal and external professionals to develop scopes, designs and delivery options.Experience in managing contracts within the civil engineering industry and understanding delivery models using NZS391X format contracts.A collaborative, team-focused approach with solid relationship management skills.Ability to work in project teams of professionals including external organisations; strong influencing and negotiation skills within the transport sector or similar.About usAt NZTA, it all starts with our people.
