This role provides advanced operational risk and compliance advice across the business, with a particular focus on supporting digital transformation and enterprise risk initiatives.You'll work closely with senior leaders to embed risk frameworks, guide remediation efforts, and ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence risk culture, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to strategic outcomes in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion operational risk and compliance awareness across CBW and Digital teams.Embed frameworks and support risk, obligation, and control assessments.Lead incident management, reporting, root cause and remediation activities.Conduct and support control testing to ensure effectiveness of key controls.Monitor key risk indicators and support governance reporting.Provide assurance and control design guidance for transformation programmes.Deliver high-quality reporting and insights to support decision-making.Support ad hoc tasks and initiatives across the wider risk team.Advise on business continuity planning and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business.EssentialWhat You'll Bring3+ years in a risk discipline (e.g. Operational Risk, Compliance, Audit).
Strong understanding of digital and technology risk.Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Experience managing competing priorities and projects.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.Knowledge of NZ and AU regulatory environments (e.g. APRA, RBNZ).
