Snr Product Manager - GCO, Governance & Compliance

Our Product Governance & Capability team within Personal Banking focus on product management responsibilities associated with governance, compliance and capability - specifically the ownership of product governance and compliance frameworks, assurance and monitoring activities and remediation support.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Product Governance & Capability team, you will support the Head of Product Governance and Capability to deliver the product governance framework, processes and forums for Personal Banking.

You will be responsible for key strategic delivery in the team including leading how we uplift core parts of our product governance activities (including over models, communications and product reviews),and staying engaged with our Risk colleagues on the Product Development and Distribution Standard and what this means for Product Governance.

You'll be responsible for managing a wide range of product risk and control assurance activities, such as providing advice and support to both the wider Product Teams as well as Product Managers within the PG&C team and ensuring high quality delivery of governance outputs like product and fee reviews and overseeing key product governance activities such as communications and model governance.

Being part of our Product team within our Personal Banking division, you will also support the development of excellence in our Product craft across Product teams and chapters, driving a continuous learning culture, sharing knowledge and upskilling each other.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a deep understanding of good customer outcomes, supported by experience in product management or Line 1 or 2 product compliance or product risk management.

You're curious and want to understand how our products work, enjoy collaboration and problem solving, and are committed to supporting our products to deliver good customer outcomes.

You will be familiar with local and international trends relating to Personal Banking financial services compliance and conduct initiatives and with the financial services regulatory landscape and have a strong grasp of retail banking products.You're comfortable challenging the status quo, and you enjoy engaging with various stakeholders (including senior stakeholders) and influencing people to drive outcomes, taking a "show me" approach and keeping customer outcomes top of mind.
