Head of Regional Outreach Services

Overview

Ko Taku Reo is seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join our Education Services Team as Head of Regional Outreach Services. This pivotal role provides strategic direction and operational leadership for our Outreach and NZSL Services Teams, ensuring Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) learners across Aotearoa have equitable access to high-quality education, language and wellbeing support. The role can be based in Auckland or Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading best practice implementation for direct and indirect service delivery
• Overseeing NZSL programme development and integration
• Monitoring learner achievement and service impact
• Strengthening whānau and community partnerships
• Driving professional learning and development for Outreach staff
• Ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual obligations
