We’re partnering with a 2025 NZ Hi-Tech Awards finalist – a global innovator in electric motor and controller systems powering modern appliances. With strong growth plans and a unique mix of start-up agility and big-brand strength, they’re creating tech that makes a real impact.

They’re now hiring a Head of PMO – a newly created leadership role. You’ll bring structure and delivery excellence to complex hardware projects, shape the PMO’s future, and lead a skilled team of six across NZ and China.

Salary range – $170,000 – $210,000 based on experience and background

What you’ll lead :

  • Build upon the PMO frameworks, processes, governance, delivery
  • Drive large, cross-functional product programs from idea to launch.
  • Connect engineering, manufacturing, finance, and leadership.
  • Ensure smooth, on-time, on-budget delivery with top-tier quality.
  • Get hands-on with complex, high-impact projects.

You’re likely the one if you :

  • Have proven experience in leading high-tech high volume manufacturing projects. (non-negotiable).
  • Good experience with Product Development Project management. (non negotiable)
  • Need someone who is managing projects from EVT all the way to PVT. (non negotiable).
  • Come from a mechanical, electrical, or embedded software background. (non-negotiable)
  • A current PMO Head / Lead or a Senior Project Manager with solid people leadership experience ready to step up.
  • Have built a PMO before in an R&D / manufacturing setting.
  • Confidently lead global teams and work with execs.
  • Know Stage Gate, Agile, and SDLC.
