As a
Manager
within our
Risk Consulting
practice, you'll play a pivotal role in leading
internal audit
and broader risk engagements, helping clients strengthen their risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
In this role, you'll also gain valuable exposure to
risk remediation projects
, including
Holidays Act compliance
, where you'll contribute to some of New Zealand's most complex and high-impact remediation work. This is a fantastic opportunity to diversify your experience beyond traditional internal audit engagements.

Ko To Rourou | Your key responsibilities
Lead and manage
internal audit
and risk consulting engagements from planning to execution and reporting. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Provide insights and practical recommendations to enhance clients'
risk management
control
, and
governance
processes, while ensuring compliance with internal audit standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
Support the delivery of
risk remediation programs
, including engagements related to
NZ Holidays Act
compliance and payroll risk. Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth.
Nga Pukenga | Skills and attributes for success
To be successful in this role, you'll bring :
5 – 10 years' experience
in
internal audit
risk advisory
, or a similar function, with a strong
analytical mindset
and
problem-solving
capability.
Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and teams.
Experience in
professional services
or within a large, complex organisation. Ability to manage budgets and oversee the delivery of high-quality internal audit and risk outputs.
We would also value the following :
Exposure to Holidays Act remediation or payroll-related risk engagements
New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency
A relevant
bachelor's or master's degree
CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP, CPA, CISA, or CA
