Job description

Education Perfect is an EdTech platform designed to empower educators and amplify their impact in the classroom. We aim to enable teachers to personalise learning at scale with a range of powerful learning, assessment and insights tools, helping them and their students reach their full potential.

As an EPeep, you’ll work on projects that have a real impact on students' lives and have the freedom, support and resources you need to develop your skills and grow your career.

We’re on the lookout for an organised, proactive and detail driven Operations Coordinator to join our Dunedin team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our COO, CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), playing a key role in keeping EP’s business rhythm running smoothly.

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, helping to coordinate leadership activities, keep communication flowing and ensure we’re aligned and moving in the right direction as a business. It’s a role that blends administration, coordination and problem-solving, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys driving impact through strong organisation and execution.

We’re looking for someone based in Dunedin, who can work closely with our COO in the office ideally 5 days a week (with some flexibility).

What you will do

  • Coordinate the key meetings and planning cycles that keep EP running smoothly, including our Operating Leadership Team (OLT) meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other leadership forums
  • Manage central calendars for the CEO, COO and leadership team, ensuring critical meetings and business events are well planned and communicated
  • Capture and track actions from leadership meetings, ensuring next steps are clear and progress is shared across the business
  • Prepare dashboards, presentations and documentation that support visibility of business performance and priorities
  • Lead the coordination and logistics for SLT and extended leadership off site events, as well as other key internal events
  • Assist with calendar management, travel bookings, expense tracking and day to day administrative support for the CEO, COO and broader leadership team
  • Help with business RFPs, tender submissions and cross functional projects to ensure documentation and processes are complete and on time
  • Work across teams to ensure communication is clear, documents are up to date and our people have what they need to do their best work

About you

  • You’ll bring administrative experience in fast moving environments and be confident managing multiple priorities while keeping things running seamlessly
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills, you’re someone who loves structure and getting ahead of what’s coming next
  • A strong communicator who can manage competing priorities and keep others informed with ease
  • A positive, proactive and solution focused mindset, you spot opportunities to make things run better and jump in to help
  • Tech savvy and confident using a range of tools (Google Workspace, project management platforms etc), experience leveraging AI tools to boost productivity is a bonus
  • Experience with event planning or coordination would be highly regarded
  • Equitable opportunities, growth, and development lie at the heart of how we work at EP. We understand that not all applicants may possess all the following attributes so if you think you have what it takes, but are not sure you check every box, we would love to still hear from you!

    What we offer

  • Share in our success through our employee equity bonus plan, giving everyone a sense of ownership and shared growth
  • Enjoy a full company shutdown over Christmas, with 3 extra paid days so you can fully switch off and recharge
  • Take a paid volunteer day each year to give back to a cause that matters to you
  • Option to buy an extra week of annual leave if you’d like more time for holidays or personal projects
  • Work from anywhere for up to 90 days each year, whether that’s visiting family interstate or exploring a new country
  • Receive a $750 wellness bonus each year to put toward whatever supports your health and wellbeing
  • Join our fully funded Southern Cross Wellbeing 1 plan ($500 excess), with optional add-ons and family cover
  • Get financial support to create a comfortable, productive home workspace that helps you do your best work
  • If you work remotely or in a hybrid setup, you’ll also get $50 a month toward your phone and internet costs
  • We support growing families with generous parental leave, including 12 weeks full pay top up for primary caregivers, 3 weeks for secondary caregiver and 5 extra days of new parent leave, plus enhanced pension contributions when you return to work
  • Access 24 / 7 confidential wellbeing, safety and medical support through Sonder, fully funded by EP and available globally
  • Keep growing with regular learning opportunities, workshops and development conversations that help you shape your career path
  • Celebrate your milestones with extra leave and cash rewards at 5, 10 and 15 years with EP
  • Earn a $2000 referral bonus when someone you recommend joins and passes their trial period
  • Access a bike, e-bike or scooter through a temporary pre tax salary sacrifice, saving 32–63% thanks to tax benefits
  • Get involved in our Mana Wahine, DEI, Environmental Impact and Wellness Committees, these are great ways to connect and make a difference
  • Be part of a global, values-driven business that’s Diversity Works accredited, Carbon Net Zero certified, a BCorp and a Digital Promise partner, all united by our mission to make a real impact for educators and learners everywhere
  • We celebrate individuality, value diversity and understand that flexible and remote work opportunities enable our team members to work in a way that fosters creativity and inspires individual brilliance. When you work with us, you're not just joining a company - you're joining a team united by the desire to make a difference.
