The Disability Support Services (DSS) Group is responsible for commissioning, funding, and stewarding high-quality services that support disabled people, their families, and whanau.
We're building leadership and management capacity across our teams to deliver both change and business-as-usual effectively.
We work closely with providers, stakeholders, and communities to ensure services are fair, consistent, transparent and sustainable.

We're looking for a proactive and organised Team Administrator to join our Disability Support Service Contracts and Funding group.
This role provides high-quality administrative support across core business and projects.
This is a permanent, Wellington based opportunity.
Key responsibilities include :
Delivering efficient and timely administrative support of core business functions across the team
Assisting with invoice processing, and project coordination
Organising meetings, workshops, and events—including accessibility arrangements
Supporting team members with calendar management and accessibility needs
Providing facilities support and stakeholder engagement
Embedding a culture of genuine accessibility across all team activities

Previous experience providing high level administrative support.
Strong knowledge of administrative processes, systems and technology.
Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of applications.
The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Adaptability and the ability to effectively prioritise and schedule your work to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and proven experience building effective relationships both within the Ministry and with outside agencies.
Salary | Utu-a-tau : $60,926 - $65,590.00
