These roles work to support the District Nurses that go out into the community to assist patients.
Some of your duties will include : Reception duties greeting and assisting patients attending clinics or making phone enquiriesLiaising with patients and District Nurse via text messaging if urgentRecording all patient encounters in the patient management systemManaging District Nurse cars in the Fleetwise systemWhile you will be situated at either Wellington Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital or Kapiti Health Centre, you may be required to work across the other sites on occasion.
These are part-time roles working 8 hours on Saturday, and 6 hours on Sunday.
The salary range is $72,035 - $79,573 pro-rated.About the Team / Service LocationThe Patient Administration Service (PAS) works across the District to support a patient\'s journey from referral through to discharge.
PAS is comprised of several difference services who each have a dedicated Team Leader : Outpatient Booking Centre, Call Centre and AtriumClinical Typing & Team SupportWard Administration & Elective bookingOutpatient Reception and Administration SupportEmergency Department and RadiologyThese roles are part of the Outpatient Reception and Administration Support team, supporting our Community Health areas.
We support the District Nurses in Community Health who work with patients in the community, visiting patients in their homes if they are unable to come into the clinic.
We facilitate a supportive and collaborative workplace culture, with a commitment to your ongoing professional development.
