Our National Support Office is seeking a Plans Administrator to join the pricing and estimating team based in East Tamaki. Reporting to the Pricing and Estimating Manager, this role is about being organised and proficient with systems and processes. Full training is provided on how to interpret building plans; the main requirement is for a skilled administrator with a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Transform a building plan into a product that is accurately priced to specifications and ready to build.
- Maintain and update the latest information on building plans in our estimating management system.
- Request pricing from suppliers for non-standard stock items.
- Coordinate information from quantity surveyors and estimating teams to keep projects running smoothly.
- Support estimators, account managers and pricing teams as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Systems administration — enter the latest plans into the estimating management system.Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels.Willingness to learn about the building trade and how plans are interpreted.Team mindset; ability to work collaboratively in a small team.What we offer
