As Team Manager - Development Engineering, you will :

Lead and support a team delivering engineering advice for resource consents and post-approval monitoring

Oversee implementation of Council's engineering standards and ensure infrastructure meets specifications

Provide technical expertise on complex proposals (stormwater, wastewater, water supply, hazards)

Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, and internal teams

Champion innovation and continuous improvement in systems and customer experience

What You'll Bring

Tertiary qualification in Engineering or NZ Certificate in Civil Engineering

5+ years' experience in civil, structural, or subdivision development engineering

Knowledge of the Resource Management Act and local government processes

Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role

Ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
