Product Support Specialist North Island – Tigercat

About the Opportunity : CablePrice (long standing Hitachi construction equipment supplier) has been appointed as the New Zealand importer and distributor for Tigercat forestry and off-road industrial machinery.

We are looking for a highly qualified Equipment Technician to join our Product Support team.

You will provide prompt technical and practical support, problem resolution, and be the go-to person for our North Island branches when assisting Tigercat customers.

You will keep up to date with market changes and improvements and be an expert primarily (but not limited to) the Tigercat range.

With flexibility around work location, you will also take an active role in new machine set-up and supporting the sales team with delivery in the region.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt technical / practical support and problem resolution for Tigercat customers.

Be the go-to person for North Island branches requiring assistance with Tigercat equipment.

Keep up to date with changes and improvements in the market and act as an expert on Tigercat range.

Play an active role in new machine set-up and support the sales team with delivery in the region.

Qualifications

Health and Safety Commitment; prioritising safety in all tasks.

Ability to advise and assist with fault diagnosis, repairs, and planning of machine modifications where required.

Provide clear and concise explanations of product features and troubleshooting steps.

Excellent customer service and ability to maintain lasting relationships with stakeholders.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

In-depth current industry knowledge.

Detailed knowledge of Tigercat product range is advantageous.

Positive, resilient attitude aligned with the team and machinery.
