Manager 1, Bid Management (24-month fixed term)

Following an internal promotion, we're now looking for a Bid Manager to join us on a 2-year fixed term contract.
As a Bid Manager, you'll manage the end-to-end bid process for new business and retention opportunities in Corporate Banking.
Working with cross-functional deal teams, you'll help shape compelling win strategies and lead the creation of high-quality proposals and presentations, driven by the customer-obsessed approach our team is known for.
From qualifying opportunities and facilitating deal team meetings to developing CVPs and ensuring timely and compliant response delivery, you'll bring structure and clarity to every stage of the bid lifecycle.
While bids will be your main focus, you'll also be involved in a variety of projects to support the wider business (including collateral development, go-to-market campaigns, events, thought leadership, strategy and more), using your creative, communication and collaboration skills to help drive impact and results.
To succeed in this role, you'll be proactive and adaptable with strong project management skills.
A strategic thinker who can creatively problem solve, your curious mindset will mean you're constantly looking for new and better ways to help our clients win.
This role is varied and fast-paced so collaboration is key - success will lie in your ability to work closely with your stakeholders and confidently manage deal teams to task.
From a technical perspective, you'll bring :
2 - 4 years' experience in Bid Management or a related field (such as Marketing, Communications, B2B Sales or Account Management) with involvement in formal bid processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear, compelling and customer-friendly messages.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability, enabling you to drive collaboration and keep cross-functional teams aligned.
Proven time management and organisational skills, allowing you prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop), paired with a flair for creating visually engaging and impactful design.
A client-centric focus and understanding of trust-based sales approaches, with the confidence to coach others to elevate performance.
