With our current Operations Manager heading to Parliament, we now have a great opportunity for you!

Whitiora is a hapū mandated entity who have the operational role of driving positive change for Ngāi Tūāhuriri in all forms and functions. We achieve this through strategic partnerships and and advisory work with entities that deliver and control services in the takiwā.

At Whitiora, we owe our success to the passion and vision of our people to achieve with purpose. We are seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee the daily activities and continue to improve our organisational processes. This role requires interface with key government stakeholders and noho-i-te-tūturu, those who hold rangatiratanga within takiwā. Therefore, experience of hapū, Crown Agencies and Iwi is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who can lead, and be led within our dream team, made up of professionals with a diverse and complementary mix of skills. Therefore, we'd love to hear from you if you have :

• Knowledge of Te Ngāi Tūāhuriri or comparable māori entity and the complexity of systems built on relationships
• Be able to lead legal and safety assurance processes to ensure that activities remain compliant including Charitable status
• An affinity for the needs and aspirations of Māori whānau and our wider community
• Excellent financial acumen, written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated relational and negotiation skills to achieve common goals
• The ability to adapt and pivot to the needs of an emerging entity
• Working knowledge of management software programs
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
