The opportunity :

Are you passionate about improving health outcomes in our community? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and culturally responsive Community Coordinator to join our Bowel Screening Programme team at Counties Manukau.

In this role, you will :

• Promote and educate communities about bowel screening
• Engage directly with Maaori, Pacific, and other priority populations to encourage participation
• Support participants and whaanau to complete screening tests and attend follow-up appointments
• Work with community groups, marae, churches, and general practices to deliver outreach and education
• Help remove barriers to care, including organising transport and providing culturally appropriate support
• Build strong relationships with health professionals, community providers, and local organisations
