We are looking for an experienced, mature fund raiser for the Men's Shed, ideally, a retired treasurer, accountant or someone with a similar skillset.
Your main responsibility is securing funding for maintenance projects on our building, the old Whangarei Railway Station.
You will be working with our treasurer to ensure the effective delivery of these projects.This role, in collaboration with the treasurer, includes : Funding, fundraising and salesFeeding into the financial planning, budgeting and reportingAbout the Men's Shed : The Whangarei Men's Shed consists of 125 members, and we are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am - 3pm.
The Whangarei Men's Shed has a reputation for 'thinking outside the square' and purchased the old Whangarei Railway Station in 2013.
