Position description : Playcentre Aotearoa is seeking a passionate and proactive Fundraising & Grants Coordinator to provide essential coordination and administrative support across key functions.
This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional supporter experience and ensuring the success of our fundraising initiatives through efficient systems, clear communication, and thoughtful stewardship along with supporting our current Grants team.At Playcentre Aotearoa, you'll be part of a purpose-led organisation that supports tamariki and whanau to learn, play, and grow together.
Your work will directly contribute to building stronger communities across Aotearoa through meaningful fundraising efforts.Days & Hours : This permanent position is based at our National Office in central Porirua offering 30 - 40 hours per week, negotiable for the successful candidate.What You'll BringExperience in fundraising, customer service, or administrationA friendly and professional communication style – clear, persuasive, and engagingExcellent organisation and time management skillsConfidence in building relationships with volunteers, donors, and fundraisersHigh attention to detail and a proactive, adaptable mindsetA team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in where neededComfort using CRM systems (Raisely experience is a plus) and digital toolsA results-driven mindset with a strong desire to achieve and surpass KPIsGrant writing knowledge and experience (desirable)Desired Skills and Experience : Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong administrative and coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities with independence and efficiencyHighly organised with strong attention to detailTech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systemsPassion for community fundraising and working with a large volunteer baseGrowth mindset, resilience, and a desire to continuously improveApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.Closing date : October 9 2025How to apply : Submit your application by the Apply Now process as described.
