Te Omanga Hospice is a charitable trust that provides specialist palliative care to patients and their whānau in the Hutt Valley living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Our vision is that everyone with palliative needs in our community receives equitable, responsive, and proactive care. Role
Te Omanga is more than just a hospice. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit Nursing Team. This position requires palliative care knowledge and a desire to work in this specialised field. This role is based within a team environment with strong support from the wider hospice multi-disciplinary team. Key to this role is the ability to build relationships with patients and their whanau providing support at a challenging time. Other essential attributes include confidence in palliative care knowledge and the ability to apply a holistic approach when working with patients. We offer a wonderful, purpose built, work environment where you will be a valued member of a dedicated and specialist Multi-Disciplinary Team.
