Overview

Clinical Nurse Specialist – Breast at The Wellington Hospital, Platinum Medical Centre, London. Part time – 27 hours per week. Shift patterns : 9am–6.30pm Mon-Fri. Salary : Competitive. The Wellington Hospital is currently rated “Good” by the CQC. Our Breast Unit offers triple assessment clinics, advanced diagnostics and a seamless patient pathway in a modern, multidisciplinary environment.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their journey, from pre-diagnosis through treatment and recovery. You will be a consistent point of contact to ensure patients feel well-supported as they navigate different parts of the hospital to receive optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical, educational, and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), including oncologists, breast surgeons, radiologists, and consultant pathologists.
• Attend MDT meetings, share recommendations with consultants, and ensure continuity of care by linking with other healthcare professionals both within the hospital and in the community.
• Offer support before, during, and after surgery, and cover clinics Monday to Friday.
