As a Registered Nurse in PACU, you will provide immediate post-anaesthetic care for patients undergoing both acute / trauma and elective surgeries.This fixed-term role offers exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties in a dynamic 24-hour service.
You will be part of a team that values professional development, encourages ongoing learning, and supports nurses to pursue postgraduate education.
Orientation is thorough, and your contributions will be recognised and celebrated.
About the Team / Service / LocationThe Perioperative Department at Tauranga Hospital is home to eight state-of-the-art operating theatres, offering a full range of surgical services.Our PACU team delivers excellent post-anaesthesia care and thrives on collaboration, adaptability, and quality care.
Located in the heart of Tauranga, you will enjoy working in a modern facility while living in one of New Zealand's most beautiful coastal cities.

About youYou are a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who brings clinical experience and a calm, confident presence to the PACU setting.You work well under pressure and find satisfaction in being part of a team that supports patients through the critical phases of recovery.
