Management Assistant Officer (Centre Shared Services - Faculty of Law)

Job Purpose

The Centre Shared Services Team provides holistic administrative support to the Research Centres at NUS Faculty of Law. The candidate must enjoy working with various stakeholders in a dynamic environment; will be involved with event planning, managing of websites and social media platforms, and onboarding of researchers and centre visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists and supports the Centre Director and PIs in project activities and administrative matters.
• Supports the day‑to‑day operations of the Centre (responsibilities include processing of procurement, performing data collection, hiring of research staff, logistics, managing space / facilities and providing other administrative functions).
• Assists with website and social media updates.
• Collates budget and expenditure data, and monitors budget utilisation.
• Organises seminars and other events for the Centre.
• Assists researchers and PIs with their queries (e.g. submission of claims).
• Works closely with Office of Finance and HR on financial and HR matters relating to researchers.
