Job Description
- Lead the recruitment of faculty candidates on tenure‑track and practice track.
- Facilitate the University’s process of mid‑term review (MTAR) and promotion & tenure (P&T) of academic staff.
- Supervise the appointments and reappointments of research staff, adjunct staff, visiting professors and academic visitors.
- Serve as Programme Business Partner for the Immunology Translational Research Programme, managing operational and financial matters to support the programme’s research priorities.
- Facilitate other functions for the ITM, e.g., organization of events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.At least 8 years working experience in research administration in tertiary institutions, particularly in academic affairs function.Highly organized individual and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.Exhibits initiative, proven effective leadership & team management and ability to work under pressure / deadlines.Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.Proactive approach to problem solving with growth mindset.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint applications.Proven track record with business improvement strategies and implementation.Knowledge and experience in research bibliometrics (e.g., Scopus) will be advantageous.Location : Kent Ridge Campus
