You will discover new leads, develop cutting‑edge tradecraft, and build tools that enable the wider analytic community to extract maximum value from novel and bulk data sources.
- About the role
- The Technical Analyst remit is broad so we are seeking a wide range of skills to support the diverse requirements of this role. You could have the opportunity to develop expertise, in support of our capability or mission requirements, in any of the following areas :
- Performing, and then automating, complex analysis across a wide range of datasets
- Developing custom technical platforms and solutions to progress data analysis and data engineering
- Gleaning insights from our disparate data sets : identifying trends, changes, and summarising current information
- Maintaining, progressing, and supporting systems that enable data collection, data analytics, data flow, and data insights
- Creating solutions to explore, triage, and translate unique datasets through unsupervised learning, supervised learning, and neural machine translation
- Using modern data science / AI / ML techniques to drive the intelligence mission
- About You :
- As an experienced practitioner you will :
- Have a relevant degree and / or technical or analysis experience, such as data science, software or systems engineering or computer science
- Have expertise using tools like Python, SQL, Elastic or PowerBI
- Be able to learn new technical and analytical skills as required

Appointment into a level 2 position will be dependent on previous skills and experience, with the appointment range between $103,009- $109,876 or level 3 between $120,359-128,383.
